Our Motion Reference Units (MRUs) are used in shallow water seabed mapping operations to measure the roll, pitch and heave of the survey vessel. These measurements are crucial to obtaining an accurate seabed mapping without artifacts due to vessel movements.

We employ the newest gyroscopes and accelerometers to give very stable and precise measurements of roll, pitch and heave at any sea-state without the need for user configuration.

To ensure the very best heave output, our sensors are also able to use a phase-cancellation algorithm, which automatically removes the phase-distortion effects of standard heave filters.
